The company seeks a Scientist for Quality Control Instrument Qualification in Visp. The role involves qualifying physical chemistry lab equipment, coordinating activities, and supporting the QC Biologics team.
This position is part of the QC Biologics, PhysChem Tech Team in Visp. The role focuses on supporting analytical instrument qualification, promoting adherence to quality standards, and ensuring the full lifecycle management of laboratory equipment.
Responsibilities
- Perform initial and requalification procedures for physical chemistry laboratory equipment following established guidelines.
- Coordinate and plan related qualification activities.
- Maintain communication with QA and QC staff and collaborate with laboratory analysts.
- Manage change requests, CAPA, and deviations through LIMS and the Documentation Management System.
- Provide troubleshooting support for laboratory equipment.
- Train laboratory analysts on proper equipment usage.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biotechnology, or life sciences, or at least one year of laboratory experience with technical instrument knowledge.
- Several years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Familiarity with analytical instrument qualification processes.
- Strong understanding of cGMP regulations.
- Proficiency in written and spoken German and English.
