Senior Manager Operations

Johnson & Johnson seeks a Senior Manager Operations in Schaffhausen to lead transformation, digitalization, and compliance initiatives within its Parenterals manufacturing division.

The company is looking for a leader to drive major operational, digital, and compliance programs within its Parenterals manufacturing organization. This position plays a central role in shaping the future manufacturing footprint by enabling new production capabilities and advancing digital manufacturing efforts.

Responsibilities

• Oversee project execution, operational readiness, and startup activities for new filling and compounding lines, as well as significant facility expansion projects.
• Direct teams implementing Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) across the parenteral compounding and filling business unit.
• Manage planning and execution oversight for major compliance projects within the parenteral compounding and filling business unit.
• Ensure successful delivery of strategic initiatives through cross-functional leadership, managing risks, timelines, budgets, and stakeholder alignment.
• Promote digitalization, innovation, and continuous improvement within a Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) regulated environment.
• Build high-performing teams and develop organizational capabilities to support future growth.

Requirements

• Hold a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or Engineering.
• Have at least 10 years of experience in aseptic operations within the pharmaceutical industry, including people leadership.
• Demonstrate knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) regulations and a proven track record of implementing and maintaining cGMP compliance.
• Show proficiency in understanding and utilizing digital technologies.
• Possess excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in diverse, global teams.

Nice to have

• A Master’s degree or higher is preferred.
