Senior NAS Engineer

Azqoresa seeks a Senior NAS Engineer in Lausanne to manage storage systems and support backup operations within a hybrid work model.

This position sits within the four-person Storage & NAS team at the Lausanne office. The engineer will collaborate with technical colleagues located in Portugal and support the broader storage infrastructure for the company's digital banking services.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of NAS, NFS, and SMB storage environments.
• Assist the backup group with storage-related issues and solutions.
• Handle modifications to Netapp network layouts, including capacity forecasting, performance optimization, and procurement processes.

Requirements

• At least five years of hands-on experience in comparable positions.
• A university degree in computer science or a comparable qualification.
• Deep understanding of NFS storage architectures.
• Proficient knowledge of SMB storage frameworks and Windows Active Directory.
• Strong command of major storage platforms such as Netapp, DELL Powerscale, and HITACHI VSP.
• Familiarity with San disk provisioning procedures.
• Ability to write scripts using Python, Ansible, or PowerShell.
• English communication skills at a B2+ level or higher.
• Legal right to reside and work in Switzerland.
