Pfizer AG in Zurich seeks a mid-level SOQ Specialist to manage product quality complaints, lead investigations, and serve as an SOP reviewer in a hybrid role.
This position acts as a Subject Matter Expert for Standard Operating Procedures while supporting moderately complex projects through effective time management and short-term planning. The role focuses on ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing and Distribution Practices during audits and inspections.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve product quality complaints and maintain GMP/GDP compliance during audits.
- Manage the complaint handling workflow to ensure alignment with internal policies and regulatory standards.
- Direct product quality investigations and track corrective actions to address marketplace compliance issues.
- Support audit Corrective & Preventive Actions, review repackaging and relabeling documentation, track Key Performance Indicators, and organize product training.
- Examine inquiry data to spot emerging patterns and trends.
Requirements
- A high school diploma with over eight years of experience, an associate degree with six years, a bachelor's with two years, or a master's/MBA with any relevant experience.
- Strong grasp of GDP and GMP regulations concerning medicinal product manufacturing and distribution.
- Exceptional organizational abilities to manage competing priorities.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills for working with local, regional, and global teams.
- Proficiency in SAP and the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Technical capability to perform complex quality assurance and control duties.
Nice to have
- Background in the pharmaceutical industry, especially with Electronic Quality Management Systems.
- Experience in a supervisory capacity.
- Familiarity with complaint processing platforms and the ability to recommend system improvements.
- Experience leading product-focused training.
- Ability to interpret data for trend identification and clear communication.
- Strong judgment and decision-making capabilities.
- Capacity to mentor peers and review their work.
- Experience with AI tools like ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilot for problem-solving, including knowledge of responsible AI practices.
- Fluency in both German and English.
