Sr Manager Data Standards & Quality

Johnson & Johnson seeks a Sr Manager for Data Standards & Quality in Zug, CH, to establish data frameworks and drive automation across its IMSC landscape.

This position focuses on defining and upholding enterprise-wide data standards while ensuring high-quality data integrity throughout the IMSC ecosystem. The role serves as a critical link between legacy enterprise systems and the shared analytics and AI readiness platform (CDL). A key objective is to advance data governance toward becoming the most automated element within the organization's technology landscape.

Responsibilities

• Establish and sustain comprehensive data standards and quality frameworks across the enterprise.
• Lead the strategy for implementing automated governance for standards and data quality.
• Partner with MDM Governance and Analytics Platform Governance leads to align efforts.
• Work with Information Architecture and JJT teams to integrate standards and automation into existing processes.
• Spearhead strategic projects aimed at innovating and automating governance workflows.
• Track and evaluate the adoption rates and maturity levels of data standards and quality initiatives.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Information Management, Data Science, Computer Science, or a closely related discipline.
• At least five years of professional experience in data governance or data quality management.
• Deep knowledge of data standards frameworks and methodologies for assessing data quality.
• Practical experience working with enterprise systems such as SAP and analytics platforms like Databricks.
• Strong technical skills in data quality tools, automation frameworks, and scripting languages including Python and SQL.
• Understanding of cloud-based data platforms and metadata management solutions.
• Fluent proficiency in English.

Nice to have

• Background or knowledge within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Familiarity with regulatory and data management frameworks such as GxP, GDPR, or DAMA.
• Experience operating within large corporate structures or matrixed organizational environments.
