Johnson & Johnson seeks a Senior Manager for Information Architecture in Zug, CH, to lead data strategy for the Deliver domain within the Innovative Medicine Supply Chain.

This position sits within the Data Strategy and Operations Team, specifically under the Information Architecture pillar of the Innovative Medicine Supply Chain Value Chain Management organization. The primary purpose of the role is to lead and oversee the information architecture for the Deliver domain, ensuring robust data structures support business goals.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement end-to-end data products for the Deliver domain, ensuring they adhere to FAIR principles and align with the broader IMSC Data Architecture.
  • Develop central strategies to reduce information duplication and clarify the source of truth across various supply chain functions and systems.
  • Partner with supply chain functional teams and J&J Technology colleagues to create scalable data models.
  • Build end-to-end FAIR data products for one or two domains covering Master and Transactional data to support analytics.
  • Establish and evolve conceptual and logical business information policies to guide data product design and modeling.
  • Collaborate with Domain Data Owners to shape the Data Domain roadmap and secure necessary budget and resources.
  • Define metadata and data quality frameworks in partnership with Data Owners to maintain high FAIR standards throughout the data lifecycle.
  • Support IMSC Data Governance by implementing governance capabilities across the Data Domain.
  • Integrate automation and simplification, including AI-agents, into data design, asset building, and quality control processes.
  • Help evolve the end-to-end data stack to support future AI applications within the domains.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Engineering, Business, Technology, Computer Science, or a related field with a focus on data management, data science, analytics, AI, or machine learning, or equivalent experience.
  • Deep expertise in data modeling and design techniques such as medallion architecture, Data Vault, Data Marts, and OBT.
  • Strong familiarity with modern data technologies, including workflow capabilities for master data, data catalogues, Lakehouse, and ontology management.
  • At least five years of experience working in a global pharmaceutical supply chain.
  • Experience leading multi-year strategy or technology deployment focused on information or data management capabilities.
  • Proven ability to build partnerships, inspire change, and deliver results within complex ecosystems.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex technical topics for diverse audiences at all levels.

Nice to have

  • Solid understanding of industry standards related to data management, such as FAIR, IDMP, and ISO.
  • Familiarity with compliance standards.
  • Prior experience working in the healthcare sector.
