The Supervisor, CQ Analytics leads data analysis efforts within Commercial Quality to enable informed decisions, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive continuous improvement. This role interprets quality data from complaints, post-market surveillance, and quality events, turning complex information into clear insights that support performance and patient safety in the global medical device industry.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Commercial Quality analytics, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and integrity.
  • Supervise and mentor team members involved in quality data analysis, reporting, and dashboard creation.
  • Analyze trends in complaints, nonconformances, CAPA, and post-market surveillance activities.
  • Create and maintain quality metrics, dashboards, and reports for leadership use.
  • Collaborate with Commercial Quality, Regulatory Affairs, and other teams to interpret data and find improvement areas.
  • Assist with internal audits, regulatory inspections, and management reviews by preparing and analyzing data.
  • Promote improvements in analytics processes, data quality, and reporting effectiveness.
  • Act as a subject-matter expert for analytics tools, systems, and best practices in Commercial Quality.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, Data Analytics, Statistics, or a related technical or scientific field.
  • 4 to 6 years of experience in Quality Assurance, Commercial Quality, quality analytics, or a regulated medical device or pharmaceutical setting.
  • Previous experience supervising team members or managing analytics-focused projects.
  • Strong background in quality data analysis, metrics creation, and trend reporting.
  • Understanding of quality management systems and post-market quality processes.
  • Proven ability to convert complex data into clear, actionable insights for various stakeholders.

Nice to have

  • Experience with EU MDR-regulated medical device products.
  • Background in complaint trending, post-market surveillance analytics, or risk-based monitoring.
  • Proficiency in analytics, reporting tools, dashboards, and data visualization platforms.
  • History of supporting audits, inspections, or management review reporting.
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement or statistical quality methodologies.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
  • Advanced degree preferred.
  • Certifications in quality or analytics preferred.
