Lonza seeks a Senior Supply Chain Project Team E2E Lead in Visp, Switzerland, to act as the central liaison for projects, ensuring seamless operational execution and cross-functional coordination.

This position functions as the primary Supply Chain authority and connection point for designated projects. The role bridges the divide between external clients and internal departments to guarantee smooth operational delivery and address any challenges that arise.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the main Supply Chain expert during meetings with internal teams and clients, championing customer requirements and handling escalations.
  • Coordinate between Project Management, Procurement, Quality, MSAT, and Operations to identify and reduce end-to-end risks such as material shortages, storage limits, and delivery issues.
  • Predict material requirements for the next three to five years, synchronize Master Production Schedules, and maintain accuracy in SAP and BOM data.
  • Manage vendor purchase orders, organize intricate inbound and outbound logistics, and improve end-to-end inventory levels through SMOG and safety stock procedures.
  • Lead the creation of Supply Chain tools at both local and global levels while providing guidance to newer team members.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or a related discipline, with a Master's degree considered advantageous; demonstrated experience in Supply Chain, preferably within the pharmaceutical or CDMO sector.
  • Robust analytical capabilities to monitor KPIs, perform root-cause analysis, and align end-to-end supply planning with manufacturing strategies.
  • Excellent presentation abilities to convey complex concepts clearly and concisely.
  • Proven history of facilitating cross-functional solutions, predicting delivery risks, and overseeing end-to-end operations.
  • Outstanding communication, presentation, and networking skills to influence stakeholders and clients; fluent English is required, with German proficiency being beneficial.
