The company seeks a Supply Chain & Inventory Lead for Advanced Synthesis to drive inventory strategy, KPI performance, and process improvement across multiple sites in Visp, Switzerland.
This position sits within the Advanced Synthesis division and is responsible for steering supply chain performance across all associated locations. The role focuses on inventory management strategy, defining key performance indicators, generating performance reports, and leading cross-site process enhancements to ensure operational efficiency and optimized stock levels.
Responsibilities
- Create and execute inventory strategies that balance stock levels and reduce surplus.
- Facilitate platform discussions to resolve inventory challenges such as excess stock and customer liabilities.
- Develop and maintain reporting dashboards for inventory projections, write-offs, and provisions.
- Track and evaluate supply chain metrics to spot trends, risks, and areas for enhancement.
- Partner with cross-functional and cross-site teams to refine and streamline supply chain workflows.
- Perform regular performance reviews and share insights with senior leadership.
- Establish and enforce division-wide processes, including inventory reporting for S&OP, ensuring site compliance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience in material and inventory management with a history of improving supply chain KPIs.
- Strong analytical abilities and proficiency in handling complex data.
- Proven leadership skills and experience working within matrix organizations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a focus on cross-functional collaboration.
- Fluent English proficiency.
- Capability to adapt global standards to division-specific requirements with a process-oriented approach.
