The company seeks a Supplies and Inventory Manager to oversee supply security, risk mitigation, and inventory performance in a regulated pharmaceutical setting. The role requires strong analytical skills, SAP/BI expertise, and cross-functional collaboration.

This position ensures uninterrupted manufacturing and patient supply by managing inventory performance and identifying supply chain risks. The role focuses on early risk detection, structured evaluation, and implementing effective mitigations within a highly regulated pharmaceutical environment.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and refine a structured framework for reporting supply chain risks.
  • Evaluate key risks such as sourcing limitations, extended lead times, and compliance issues.
  • Track essential KPIs to enhance transparency and inform sourcing strategies.
  • Perform risk assessments for vital materials and adjust inventory levels for optimal availability.
  • Deliver monthly inventory reports featuring detailed performance analytics.
  • Develop scenario analyses and propose mitigation strategies for potential disruptions.
  • Work with various departments to gather, verify, and analyze risk-related data.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
  • Professional background in supply chain, risk management, planning, procurement, or similar areas, with a solid grasp of end-to-end supply chain processes.
  • Experience in developing and maintaining risk catalogues, registers, and escalation procedures, alongside improving master data quality.
  • Strong analytical capabilities with hands-on experience in ERP/SAP systems, BI tools, Excel, and Power BI, demonstrating a high affinity for data and KPIs.
  • Ability to produce clear risk reports, dashboards, and management presentations that meet quality, regulatory, and client standards.
  • Proactive, solution-oriented approach to maintaining accurate risk insights that reflect changes in suppliers, materials, or processes.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with very good English proficiency and good German proficiency.
