Support & Cleaning - Part-time

Indie Campers seeks a part-time Support & Cleaning Agent in Zürich to maintain its campervan fleet. The role ensures vehicles are hygienic, safe, and ready for customers, requiring physical stamina and attention to detail.

As a global leader in road trip travel, Indie Campers relies on its Support & Cleaning team to keep its extensive fleet in top condition. This position is dedicated to preserving the hygiene, appearance, and operational readiness of the rental vehicles, directly impacting customer satisfaction and smooth daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean and maintain both the interior and exterior of campervans to uphold strict hygiene and visual standards.
• Equip vehicles with necessary kits, bedding, and optional extras before they are released to customers.
• Conduct inspections upon vehicle return to identify any cleanliness issues, missing items, or damage, and report findings promptly.
• Oversee inventory management by receiving, storing, and organizing cleaning supplies and consumables.
• Support depot logistics by maintaining organized cleaning areas, moving vehicles as needed, and assisting with general operational tasks.

Requirements

• Previous experience in cleaning roles.
• High level of attention to detail and a strong commitment to hygiene protocols.
• Physical fitness to perform manual labor and active cleaning tasks throughout the shift.
• Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to thrive in fast-paced environments.
• Valid driving license (Category B).
• Proficiency in English.
• Ability to work comfortably both inside vehicles and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Capacity to lift, move, or carry equipment, hoses, chemicals, and kits weighing up to 15 kg.
• Comfort with the safe use of cleaning products and chemicals, adhering to company safety guidelines.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and peak seasonal schedules, including adapting to last-minute operational changes.
• Ability to maintain cleaning quality and speed during high-volume periods.

Nice to have

• Prior experience in hospitality, warehouse operations, housekeeping, or general operations.
• Proficiency in the local language.
