Michael Page is hiring a Mid-level Accounts Payable Accountant with SAP S/4HANA expertise for a fixed-term, on-site role in Fribourg, starting immediately.

This position serves as a dedicated Accounts Payable Accountant and SAP specialist within the Industrial and Manufacturing sector. The primary purpose of the role is to manage supplier financial operations while acting as a key expert for SAP implementation efforts.

Responsibilities

• Accurately processing and recording invoices from suppliers
• Overseeing the payment workflow for vendor accounts
• Conducting bank reconciliations and resolving any identified variances
• Generating financial reports for the Accounting & Finance team
• Providing necessary documentation to support internal and external audit processes
• Working with internal departments to address and resolve account discrepancies
• Ensuring all records comply with Swiss accounting standards and IFRS guidelines
• Identifying opportunities to enhance and streamline accounting procedures

Requirements

• A university degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related discipline
• Solid understanding of Swiss accounting principles
• Demonstrated proficiency with SAP S/4HANA
• Fluent command of the English language
• Intermediate written and spoken French skills (B2 level)
