Weloglobal seeks a Junior Audio Transcription Analyst in German (Switzerland) for a freelance remote role. The position involves transcribing short audio clips for AI training, with flexible hours and project-based work.
This role supports an AI training data initiative for a leading voice AI platform, focusing on improving recognition of German dialects through accurate transcription of short audio clips.
Responsibilities
- Transcribe 5-second audio clips exactly as spoken, capturing all nuances of speech
- Adhere to a detailed style guide covering punctuation, formatting, and audio quality indicators
- Mark audio clips with background noise, incomplete speech, or poor clarity using standardized codes
- Complete tasks at an average pace of around 125 seconds per clip, while working within flexible timeframes
Requirements
- Native or near-native proficiency in German
- Strong written communication skills with attention to punctuation and sentence structure
- Access to a reliable computer, high-quality headphones, and a stable internet connection
- Ability to work independently with minimal oversight in a remote setting
- Meticulous attention to detail and consistent application of guidelines
- Availability to dedicate 10 to 20 hours per week for a duration of up to 6 weeks
