Associate Director Experience Design

Dept Design & Technology AG seeks an Associate Director of Experience Design in Zürich to lead pitch and key account design for the DACH and EMEA regions.

This position sits within the Experience & Engineering team in the DACH region, where technology and experience design converge to build CX platforms, apps, online shops, and design systems. The role focuses on leading pitches to secure new business across DACH and EMEA while overseeing project delivery for major accounts.

Responsibilities

• Establish high standards for award-winning design in pitches and key accounts, ensuring all user, brand, and business needs are exceeded.
• Oversee the quality and successful delivery of pitch or project teams by setting clear directions and monitoring outcomes.
• Collaborate closely with Strategy, UX, Content, and Technology departments, as well as international teams throughout EMEA.
• Build the company’s reputation by acting as an internal and external voice through speaking engagements and industry contributions.

Requirements

• More than 15 years of experience in brand design, experience design (UX/UI), motion design, and large-scale design systems.
• A proven track record in dynamic agency environments, including collaboration with international brands and management of senior stakeholders.
• An outstanding portfolio demonstrating success across the entire design value chain, with measurable business growth and impressive results.
• Professional language proficiency in both German and English at a C1 level.
