Associate Field Work Support Manager

IQVIA AG seeks an Associate Field Work Support Manager in Switzerland to lead fieldwork specialists, manage research projects, and ensure data quality for business units.

This position involves overseeing a team of fieldwork specialists to deliver essential support for various business units. The role focuses on coordinating primary research activities, managing freelance resources, and ensuring that market information and analysis are accurately gathered and delivered to meet business needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide market insights and analysis by leveraging internal databases, journals, and online sources for business units.
• Research specific diseases, regions, or products to keep the company database current and accurate.
• Coordinate freelance researchers for primary studies, ensuring projects stay within budget and meet deadlines.
• Collaborate with business units to identify their needs and establish standards for research processes and final outputs.
• Create and maintain quality control procedures and related documentation.
• Help recruit and prepare freelance staff and agency partners for outsourced tasks.
• Support less experienced team members by answering their questions and providing guidance.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree or equivalent with a background in medicine or science.
• Two to four years of professional experience.
• Strong proficiency with Windows-based tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
• Ability to perform analysis and gather information to solve routine problems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Strong organizational capabilities.
• Prior experience in market research is required.
