Altenburger seeks an associate lawyer specializing in banking and finance law for an 80-100% role in Geneva. Candidates must have a legal background in Swiss law and 2-3 years of experience in financial law, with fluency in French and English.
The position aims to strengthen the Banking, Finance & FinTech team in Geneva by supporting ongoing legal work in the financial sector.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Banking, Finance & FinTech department in Geneva with legal matters.
Requirements
- A legal education focused on Swiss law.
- Minimum of two to three years of experience in banking and financial law, including regulatory and contractual areas such as FinSA, FinIA, AML, and CISA.
- Fluency in both written and spoken French and English.
- Ability to build strong client relationships and handle requests with care and service orientation.
- Proactive, organized, and capable of managing deadlines and priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Comfortable working both collaboratively and independently.
Nice to have
- Completion of a diploma or post-graduate program after passing the bar exam.
- Knowledge of the German language.
