Julius Bär seeks a Business Development professional for Emerging Markets based in Zürich. The role focuses on analytics, strategic planning, and supporting regional growth initiatives.

This position sits within the Emerging Markets Business Development team at Julius Bär. The incumbent will collaborate with regional and market leadership to enhance business performance and drive strategic expansion. The role provides significant exposure to high-level strategic projects, business planning cycles, performance management, and executive-level communications.

Responsibilities

• Manage and enhance the regional business analytics and reporting framework, guaranteeing data accuracy, consistency, and transparency.
• Contribute to forecasting and business planning activities by performing quantitative analysis.
• Examine complex business data to uncover trends, opportunities, risks, and key performance drivers across various markets and client segments.
• Aggregate and interpret large datasets from diverse sources to produce actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
• Lead, coordinate, and support strategic and business development initiatives throughout the region.
• Address ad hoc analytical requests from senior management by providing clear, data-driven recommendations.

Requirements

• Possess a relevant higher educational and professional background.
• Demonstrate knowledge of Wealth Management solutions and products.
• Showcase strong Project Management capabilities.
• Exhibit exceptional analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities.
• Have practical experience in creating and maintaining data queries.
• Be proficient in MS Office applications, with a specific focus on Excel.
• Work independently, efficiently, proactively, and with meticulous attention to detail.
• Display strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage a diverse portfolio of tasks.
