Ticino Clean Sagl seeks a Buyer for ingredients and trade in Stabio. This full-time, on-site role requires fluency in Italian and German, along with experience in manufacturing purchasing and SAP systems.

This position supports the ongoing development of the organization within a manufacturing environment. It demands prior experience in the purchasing department of medium-complexity manufacturing firms, ensuring that material needs are met efficiently and in compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Track and manage the supply of materials within your specific area of expertise.
• Create purchase orders, verify order confirmations, and oversee the entire process from placement to delivery and after-sales support.
• Work with teams on seasonal and project-based purchasing plans.
• Assist in preparing the annual purchasing budget.
• Maintain regular communication with suppliers via phone and in-person meetings.
• Keep product documentation and graphics up to date.
• Analyze data relevant to your purchasing domain or broader company interests.
• Prepare reports and presentations based on purchasing metrics.
• Handle and resolve supplier complaints effectively.
• Identify and evaluate new products and potential suppliers.
• Validate new suppliers and participate in regular supplier performance reviews.
• Support corporate inventory counts and assist in inventory control management.

Requirements

• Understanding of the agri-food sector, including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and hygiene standards.
• Familiarity with industrial production processes.
• Knowledge of business workflows and budget management.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Experience with ERP systems, specifically SAP ECC and S/4 HANA.
• Awareness of workplace safety and health protection regulations.
• Solid background in purchasing operations.
• Understanding of internal and external logistics.
• Commitment to continuous professional development in purchasing (EPS).
• Mandatory fluency in both Italian and German.
• Strong autonomy, flexibility, stress resilience, and interpersonal skills.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in English.
• Background in the food or pharmaceutical industries.
• Advanced written and spoken German and English skills.
• Deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA.
