China Affairs & Strategy Intern

Richemont seeks a China Affairs & Strategy Intern in Bellevue, CH, to provide strategic insights, market analysis, and support for business development and partner relations within the luxury sector.

This internship supports the department's role as an intelligence desk and strategic advisor to Richemont's Maisons. The position focuses on delivering research on the Chinese market, fostering relationships with Chinese organizations, and assisting with high-level representation and operational projects.

Responsibilities

• Deliver research and analysis on macroeconomic trends and consumer behavior to the Group and its Maisons.
• Track developments in Chinese domestic and international markets, including insights on Chinese travelers and local communities.
• Create clear and accurate presentation materials to communicate research findings.
• Gather data and compile reports for specific, ad-hoc requests from the Group and individual Maisons.
• Assist in planning, tracking, and executing business operation projects across the globe.
• Research, connect with, and engage potential business partners and clients for the Maisons.
• Nurture and expand relationships with current business partners and Richemont's Maisons.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled student eligible for a 'convention de stage'.
• 1-2 years of professional experience in project management, market research, or business development.
• Solid understanding of macro/microeconomics, geopolitics, and the luxury industry.
• Strong analytical abilities for editorial and research tasks.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to navigate complex issues and coordinate with various stakeholders.
• Fluency in both English and Chinese is required.

Nice to have

• Fluency in French is advantageous.
• Previous experience in the luxury sector or working with high-net-worth individuals is beneficial.
