China Affairs & Strategy Intern

Roger Dubuis seeks a China Affairs & Strategy Intern in Bellevue, CH, to provide market intelligence and support strategic initiatives within the Richemont group.

This position sits within the Richemont China Affairs & Strategy department, which functions as an intelligence hub and strategic advisor. The team delivers operational support to all Maisons and handles high-level representation with Chinese partners, ensuring the group remains informed on regional dynamics.

Responsibilities

• Deliver analytical insights on macroeconomic trends and consumer behavior to the Group and individual Maisons.
• Track developments in Chinese domestic and international markets, focusing on traveler patterns and local community activities.
• Create precise presentation materials to communicate research findings effectively.
• Gather data for specific, ad-hoc topics as requested by the Group or Maisons.
• Assist in planning, monitoring, and executing business operation projects across the globe.
• Identify and connect with potential business partners and clients to support Maison growth.
• Nurture and expand relationships with current business partners and Richemont Maisons.

Requirements

• Current student status with a valid internship agreement (convention de stage).
• One to two years of professional experience in project management, market research, or business development.
• Solid understanding of macro and microeconomics, geopolitics, and the luxury sector.
• Strong analytical abilities suitable for editorial and research tasks.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for resolving issues and coordinating with various stakeholders.
• Mandatory fluency in both English and Chinese.

Nice to have

• Fluency in French is considered an advantage.
• Previous experience in the luxury industry or serving high-net-worth individuals is beneficial.
