Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day administration of a designated purchasing portfolio.
- Evaluate incoming offers, adjust pricing records, and manage associated paperwork.
- Maintain supplier connections through sourcing activities, request for quotations, price discussions, contract oversight, and periodic business reviews.
- Track supplier performance metrics and prepare relevant reports.
- Identify potential supplier risks, manage crises as they arise, and apply corrective measures.
- Collaborate with the quality management team on supplier evaluations and assist during audits.
- Execute cost-saving projects and monitor their progress.
- Identify optimal technical approaches to achieve design-to-cost targets.
Requirements
- Hold a bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, economics, management, project management, or purchasing.
- Possess 1 to 2 years of purchasing experience within the automotive, construction equipment, aviation, or railway industries.
- Demonstrate strong proficiency in French, German, and English.
- Be skilled in using ERP systems, SharePoint, and MS Office applications.
- Exhibit strong organizational abilities, flexibility, analytical thinking, teamwork skills, a willingness to learn, and a results-driven mindset.
