Connected Devices Project Manager

IQVIA AG seeks a Senior Connected Devices Project Manager in Switzerland to lead multi-regional clinical trial projects, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and high-quality outcomes.

The company is looking for an experienced professional to oversee medium to large-scale Connected Devices initiatives across all clinical trial phases. This role involves managing stand-alone or full-service projects, ensuring they meet sponsor expectations, stay within budget, and adhere to established policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Execute projects from planning through delivery, strictly following the agreed Scope of Work.
• Act as the main point of contact for sponsors, maintaining clear communication and adhering to reporting schedules.
• Coordinate resource planning and support the team to ensure adequate staffing throughout the project lifecycle, escalating to senior management when necessary.
• Lead cross-functional Connected Devices teams to guarantee successful project outcomes.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Manage project finances accurately, ensuring revenue recognition and forecasts are correct, and execute change orders when appropriate.
• Ensure all deliverables meet quality standards and customer expectations in line with standard operating procedures.
• Present project updates at internal and external meetings and conduct end-of-project reviews to confirm all activities are complete.
• Keep Connected Devices leadership informed of any issues affecting quality, budget, or timeline, seeking advice for timely resolution.
• Mentor and train junior project managers.
• Provide performance feedback to line managers to support team members' career development.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare or a related scientific field.
• 8-10 years of experience in clinical research or monitoring.
• Demonstrated track record in clinical project management and delivery.
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
• Experience working on global clinical research projects.
