Responsibilities
- Architect and sustain the analytics structure within the enterprise data platform.
- Organize analytical data sets within Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse.
- Create semantic models that underpin reporting tools and visualizations.
- Guarantee that analytical outputs deliver a single, trusted source of business truth.
- Define core business entities and map their interrelationships.
- Establish consistent KPI definitions across various reporting environments.
- Work with business partners to confirm the accuracy of metrics and logic.
- Construct interactive dashboards using Oracle Analytics Cloud and Microsoft Power BI.
- Produce standardized visualizations for primary organizational needs.
- Generate reusable data assets, visual components, and dashboard frameworks.
- Ensure all dashboards are user-friendly, dependable, and aligned with business goals.
- Empower business units to create and adjust their own reports via self-service BI.
- Build shared semantic layers and datasets for broad business access.
- Curate and maintain a repository of BI templates and refined data sets.
- Offer training and assistance to encourage proficient use of analytics tools.
- Establish procedures to uphold data quality, reliability, and consistency.
- Track data quality indicators and detect irregularities.
- Manage business definitions and metadata through a glossary and data catalog.
- Document data lineage and metadata for all analytical assets.
- Adhere to data governance standards and regulatory obligations such as GDPR.
- Partner with IT to integrate data from diverse enterprise systems.
- Utilize OCI Data Integration and Oracle Data Transform for ingestion pipelines.
- Verify data pipelines to ensure consistent availability for analytical purposes.
- Create reusable datasets for consumption by dashboards, APIs, and applications.
- Assist in developing data APIs via the organization’s API gateway.
- Align APIs and dashboards with unified business definitions.
- Prepare governed datasets to support advanced analytics and AI projects.
- Maintain documentation and lineage to ensure AI reliability.
- Collaborate with data science teams to provide curated data for experimentation.
- Monitor workloads in Oracle Analytics Cloud and Autonomous Data Warehouse.
- Optimize queries, datasets, and dashboards for peak performance.
- Support operational monitoring using OCI observability tools.
