This position supports a leading social media platform by maintaining safe digital environments. Based on-site in Sofia, the specialist reviews user-generated content for the German-speaking market, enforcing community standards and legal requirements while collaborating with internal teams to mitigate risks.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and moderate user content to ensure adherence to platform policies, community guidelines, and legal standards for German-speaking regions.
• Detect and remove material that violates rules, such as hate speech, misinformation, harassment, fraud, or graphic imagery.
• Analyze complex trust and safety incidents, escalating high-risk cases to specialized internal departments promptly and accurately.
• Issue consistent decisions regarding content removal, account restrictions, warnings, or bans in alignment with established policies.
• Track emerging threats, coordinated inauthentic behavior, and trends within the German-language social media landscape to provide actionable insights.
• Work with legal, policy, and engineering teams to refine trust and safety workflows and operational processes.
• Keep precise records of all reviewed cases, decisions, and actions taken to meet operational documentation standards.
• Attend calibration sessions, team briefings, and training programs to stay updated on evolving guidelines and best practices.

Requirements

• Native-level proficiency in German, both spoken and written, is essential.
• Holders of a valid EU passport are required to ensure eligibility for relocation and employment.
• Fluent English skills are necessary for internal communication, reporting, and team collaboration.
