The company is looking for a dedicated nurse to join its modern monitoring station in Zurich. In this position, the successful candidate will provide responsible care for patients from various medical specialties, ensuring safe recovery after surgical procedures. The role allows the nurse to deepen their expertise in Intermediate Care while working within a supportive and engaged team.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and provide nursing care to patients in the recovery room and on the monitoring station.
- Take responsibility for tracking postoperative vital signs and executing operation-specific nursing protocols.
- Independently carry out diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventive measures as directed by medical orders.
- Identify emergency situations promptly and initiate necessary immediate actions.
- Maintain accurate and complete documentation for both services and nursing care.
- Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams across different medical specialties.
- Participate in shift work within a dynamic and professional healthcare environment.
Requirements
- Completion of nursing training (HF/FH) or an equivalent qualification, such as a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, or licensure as a health and nursing professional.
- Additional training in intensive care, anesthesia, or Intermediate Care (IMC) nursing.
- Several years of professional experience in intensive care, Intermediate Care, or recovery room settings.
- Strong professional competence in managing postoperative patient scenarios.
