UBS Card Center AG seeks a Senior Domain Architect to shape IT infrastructure for card processing and payment solutions, aligning business goals with technical architecture in a hybrid role based in Switzerland.
The company is looking for a senior professional to define and maintain the IT infrastructure architecture for card processing and payment systems. This position focuses on aligning business objectives with security, risk, and infrastructure strategies to support digital transformation and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Create and update the domain architecture roadmap for card processing and payment solutions.
- Establish transparent governance and decision-making processes for architecture.
- Document and continuously update the current and target architecture landscape.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and guide sustainable architectural decisions.
- Optimize and redesign IT infrastructure processes to ensure efficient workflows.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, development teams and enterprise/solution architects to translate business requirements into robust technology solutions.
- Define architecture standards and support business cases and investment proposals for technology initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience as an infrastructure architect or in a similar architecture role, ideally in financial services or payments.
- Strong background in IT architecture management and documentation.
- Experience with enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF).
- Excellent understanding of cloud technologies, integration patterns, and security best practices.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent in English.
