Driver / Data Collector in Kreuzlingen, Switzerland

Tsmg seeks a Junior Driver / Data Collector in Kreuzlingen, Switzerland, to capture street-level images using 360 cameras for a global online map. The contract role requires driving assigned routes, reporting progress, and using digital tools for communication. The project lasts 3–6 months and involves repeated visits to areas due to weather conditions.

This role involves collecting high-quality visual data of streets, points of interest, and public areas across EU countries using vehicles equipped with 360-degree cameras. The data supports improvements to one of the world’s most widely used online maps. Drivers will follow specific routes, focusing on commercial and historical areas, and may revisit locations due to poor weather. The project runs for 3 to 6 months and covers various collection zones.

Responsibilities

• Drive assigned routes to capture images of streets, public areas, and key landmarks.
• Operate vehicles with 360 cameras to record and store surrounding visuals.
• Report on data collection progress and any issues encountered.
• Use digital tools such as Gmail, Google Forms, Google Meet, and WhatsApp for communication and updates.

Requirements

• Hold a valid driver’s license.
• Demonstrate strong driving skills and maintain a clean driving record.
• Be available for a minimum of 3 months.
• Show a high level of responsibility and self-motivation.
• Pay close attention to detail and enjoy driving during standard business hours.

Nice to have

• Access to a private, monitored parking space for the company vehicle.
• Basic knowledge of car mechanics or general vehicle operation.
