Driver / Data Collector in Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port, France

Tsmg seeks a Junior Driver/Data Collector in Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port, CH, for a 3- to 6-month contract. The role involves driving assigned routes to capture 360-degree images of streets and public areas using vehicle-mounted cameras, with reporting via digital tools.

This position supports a data collection project across EU countries, focusing on capturing high-quality 360-degree imagery of public streets, commercial areas, and historical sites. Due to variable weather, some locations may require repeat visits to ensure optimal image quality. The project runs for 3 to 6 months and involves following specific routes in urban and tourist areas.

Responsibilities

• Mount 360-degree cameras on the roof of a vehicle, which requires lifting 6 kg to a height of 1 metre.
• Drive along designated routes to capture images of streets, points of interest, and public areas.
• Use Gmail, Google Forms, Google Meet, and WhatsApp to communicate and report progress.
• Provide regular updates on data collection status and any issues encountered.

Requirements

• Hold a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Demonstrate strong driving skills and good physical condition.
• Be able to install cameras on vehicle roofs (6 kg, 1 m height).
• Commit to a minimum 3-month engagement.
• Show high responsibility, self-motivation, and attention to detail.

• Access to a private, monitored parking space for the company vehicle.
• Basic knowledge of car mechanics or maintenance.
• Preference for driving during standard business hours.
