Driver / Data Collector in Winterberg, Germany

Tsmg seeks a Driver / Data Collector in Winterberg, CH, for a mid-level, full-time contract role. The position involves collecting high-quality visual data using vehicles equipped with 360° cameras and lidars, following assigned routes across public areas and points of interest in EU countries.

This project focuses on gathering detailed visuals of streets, commercial zones, and public spaces across European countries to support improvements to a leading online mapping platform. Data collectors will follow pre-defined routes and revisit areas as needed to ensure optimal image quality, with assignments typically lasting 3 to 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Capture high-quality visuals of streets, points of interest, and public areas using vehicles fitted with 360° cameras and lidars.
• Drive along pre-assigned routes, concentrating on public roads, commercial districts, and key landmarks.
• Return to specific locations during favorable weather to maintain the highest image quality standards.

Requirements

• Must hold a valid EU-issued driver’s license.
• Must have a clean criminal and driving record.
• Requires at least 5 years of driving experience.
• Experience in professional driving roles such as taxi, delivery, or logistics is necessary.
• Proficiency in both English and the local language is required.
• Familiarity with GSuite tools including Gmail, Google Spreadsheets, and Google Forms.
• Basic understanding of vehicle mechanics.
• Demonstrated responsibility, reliability, and professional conduct.
