Driver / Data Collector in Zweisimmen, Switzerland

Tsmg seeks a junior driver/data collector in Zweisimmen, Switzerland, for a 3- to 6-month contract to capture 360-degree images of streets and public areas using vehicle-mounted cameras. The role requires a valid driver’s license, good driving skills, and the ability to install cameras on vehicle roofs.

This project involves collecting visual data from public streets, commercial districts, and historical sites across EU countries using 360-degree cameras mounted on vehicles. Data collectors will follow designated routes to capture images of key areas, supporting data collection efforts where automation is not feasible. The assignment is expected to last between 3 and 6 months, covering various regions.

Responsibilities

• Mount 360-degree cameras, weighing 6 kg and 1 meter tall, onto the vehicle roof.
• Drive along assigned routes to capture images of streets, points of interest, and public areas.
• Report project progress and any issues encountered during data collection.
• Use digital tools such as Gmail, Google Forms, Google Meet, and WhatsApp for communication and documentation.

Requirements

• Must hold a valid driver’s license.
• Demonstrate strong driving skills and maintain a clean driving record.
• Capable of installing cameras on vehicle roofs (6 kg, 1 meter height).
• Available for a minimum commitment of 3 months.
• Highly responsible and detail-oriented.
• Self-motivated with strong communication and reporting abilities.

Nice to have

• Access to a private, monitored parking space for the company vehicle is advantageous.
• Basic knowledge of cars is beneficial.
• Prefers driving during standard business hours.
