Enterprise Architect - RDT DIA Commercial

Roche seeks a Principal Enterprise Architect within the DIA Customer Service team to provide strategic oversight and governance for cross-domain initiatives in Kaiseraugst, CH.

Positioned within the DIA Customer Service team under Roche Digital Technology (RDT), this role delivers visionary leadership and strategic direction for cross-domain efforts. The architect is responsible for maintaining the current landscape and defining target architectures that align with the broader Enterprise strategy, ensuring coherence across multiple domains.

Responsibilities

• Leads architecture governance to ensure alignment across different domains.
• Conducts impact assessments for cross-domain initiatives.
• Assesses external technology trends and drives their adoption.
• Identifies opportunities to reuse, consolidate, and optimize the enterprise technology landscape.
• Guides teams in resolving highly complex issues affecting cross-functional processes.
• Defines and manages architecture, governance, and technology to meet stakeholder needs.
• Defines target architectures across domains and oversees governance.
• Actively manages technical debt by monitoring application and technology lifecycles.
• Communicates complex ideas and influences senior stakeholders to adopt new approaches.
• Maintains the vision and roadmap for selected cross-domain initiatives.
• Defines and rolls out the PACE Layering classification framework.
• Conducts value stream mapping and provides architectural insights for leadership.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience providing architectural oversight and strategic guidance in a cross-domain context.
• Experience guiding others in resolving complex cross-functional issues and defining architecture aligned with enterprise needs.
• Proven track record as a recognized leader in the architecture community.
• Excellent knowledge and practical experience in two or more domain or technology areas.
• Proficiency in overseeing Information, Technology, Business, and Application Architecture across multiple domains.
