Senior/Principal Enterprise Architect (f/m/d) - Switzerland

SAF AG seeks a Senior/Principal Enterprise Architect in Zürich-Flughafen to guide customers through cloud and enterprise transformation, aligning architecture with business strategy and SAP best practices.

The company is looking for a senior architect to serve as a trusted partner for executive stakeholders. This role focuses on developing a comprehensive enterprise architecture vision that supports customer business strategies and transformation goals while driving value through effective architecture execution.

Responsibilities

• Lead customers through their enterprise and cloud transformation processes, moving from initial architecture concepts to practical implementation using scalable delivery models.
• Offer architectural guidance rooted in SAP’s Reference Architecture Framework and Clean Core principles to help clients maximize the advantages of SAP cloud solutions.
• Advise CIOs and other C-level executives on architecture effectiveness and strategic decision-making.
• Identify and manage architectural and technical risks within hybrid and cloud environments to support solution adoption.
• Ensure value realization by tracking measurable KPIs and aligning solution adoption with customer business outcomes.
• Translate customer expectations and business objectives into a concrete enterprise success plan, monitoring value drivers through SAP’s value framework.
• Provide trusted advisory services to maintain secure, reliable, and extensible architectures for critical business operations.
• Establish robust architecture governance by engaging customer, partner, and internal teams to align on business goals and architectural standards.
• Promote SAP’s Clean Core strategy, accelerate Business Technology Platform adoption, and share architectural best practices across various solution areas.

Requirements

• Over a decade of experience in enterprise or IT architecture, including end-to-end design responsibilities within complex hybrid environments.
• Deep understanding of the SAP Enterprise Architecture Framework, the associated architecture toolchain, and BTP services.
• Strong grasp of Clean Core principles, integration methods, and extensibility best practices.
• Technical or functional background working with SAP S/4HANA solutions.
• Fluency in both English and German, paired with strong communication, influencing, and stakeholder management abilities.
• A strategic mindset, commitment to continuous learning, and solid business acumen.

Nice to have

• Certifications such as SAP Enterprise Architecture Framework (LeanIX), SAP Certified Professional – Enterprise Architect, TOGAF, or equivalent credentials.
