EVENT SPECIALIST

Roger Dubuis seeks an Event Specialist in Plan-les-Ouates to coordinate high-profile international press and client gatherings, requiring strong project management and bilingual skills.

This position sits within the International Event Team at Roger Dubuis, a leading name in fine watchmaking. The role is dedicated to planning and delivering prestigious events for press and VIP clients, demanding a proactive professional who can thrive in a fast-paced, international setting.

Responsibilities

• Work with internal teams to create fresh concepts for global press and client gatherings.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions to design creative activations that align with brand communication goals.
• Create comprehensive event plans, including timelines and budgets, ensuring precise execution from start to finish.
• Handle end-to-end coordination, managing logistical and administrative details seamlessly.
• Coordinate with external agencies, suppliers, and partners to ensure smooth operations.
• Oversee the production and management of all materials related to events.
• Ensure flawless on-site execution, handling operational tasks and anticipating potential issues.
• Manage guest relations and hospitality for press attendees and VIP clients.
• Control event budgets, track spending, and maintain cost-efficiency.
• Analyze event performance, collect feedback, and prepare detailed post-event reports.

Requirements

• A degree in Business Administration or a related field, with a solid grasp of the luxury sector.
• Proven experience in international events, project management, marketing, and public relations.
• Ability to handle multiple complex projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment.
• Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills, along with rigor, proactivity, and creativity.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Fluency in both English and French.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with SAP systems.
