Finance Director - FP&A - supply chain

Michael Page seeks a Senior Finance Director for FP&A and supply chain in Geneva. This onsite role partners with the CEO to lead financial strategy, reporting, and operational optimization.

The company is looking for a senior finance leader to act as the primary business partner to the CEO. This position combines high-level financial planning and analysis with direct oversight of supply chain operations, ensuring that financial rigor supports business growth and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Deliver accurate monthly performance reports and manage outsourced accounting functions.
• Lead financial planning activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and profitability analysis.
• Evaluate growth opportunities and assess the financial viability of new projects and deals.
• Develop business cases and critically review pricing strategies and margin structures.
• Oversee treasury management, cash flow visibility, and overall financial health.
• Manage relationships with external auditors and financial partners.
• Supervise the supply chain specialist and the IT/AI Lead.
• Align finance strategies with supply chain and growth objectives.
• Monitor operational flows such as inventory, orders, and distribution from a cost perspective.
• Optimize working capital, stock levels, and logistics expenses.
• Ensure international import/export flows comply with business constraints.
• Handle international VAT and customs duty considerations.
• Drive continuous improvement in financial tools, processes, and data quality.
• Review contracts from a financial standpoint to support business expansion.
• Coordinate with external legal and tax advisors as needed.

Requirements

• Strong academic background in finance, preferably with Big 4 training, combined with SME experience.
• Proven track record of working in international settings and managing foreign subsidiaries.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to engage and manage teams effectively.
• Hands-on mindset with a deep understanding of entrepreneurial environments.
• Adaptability to fast-changing scopes and willingness to take ownership of new challenges.

Nice to have

• Prior experience in supply chain finance.
• Proficiency in Spanish.
