Food/Ingredient Jr. Technical Support Specialist Acidulants

Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for technical inquiries.
• Support customers with product applications, specifications, and basic troubleshooting.
• Prepare and manage technical documentation including specifications, statements, compliance documents, and customer-specific responses.
• Coordinate with Sales, Quality, Regulatory, R&D, and Marketing to ensure timely and accurate support.
• Assist in resolving technical issues and customer complaints.
• Contribute to process improvements, knowledge sharing, and documentation.
• Gradually take ownership of selected topics, products, or customer accounts.

Requirements

• Degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong organizational and coordination skills with an operational mindset.
• Customer-oriented with strong communication skills.
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary and international environment.
• Structured, pragmatic, and solution-driven approach.
• Fluency in English is mandatory.

Nice to have

• First experience in technical support, quality, or production.
• Fluency in German and/or French.
