Ernst & Young AG seeks a Forensic Consultant in Bern to investigate economic crimes and support compliance efforts for public and private clients.
This position is part of the Forensic & Integrity Services practice, where specialists collaborate to help organizations prevent and address integrity-related issues. The role involves handling substantive forensic cases from the start, focusing on fraud, bribery, corruption, and money laundering matters for diverse clients.
Responsibilities
- Investigate misconduct such as fraud, bribery, corruption, and money laundering across various industries.
- Analyze financial data, transactional flows, and accounting records to construct evidence-based narratives.
- Perform third-party due diligence, gather intelligence via OSINT, conduct interviews, and produce fact-based reports.
- Design, test, and implement compliance and anti-fraud management systems.
- Utilize technology-assisted document reviews and GenAI to derive insights while maintaining defensibility.
- Prepare client presentations, status updates, and other documentation materials.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in economics, business administration, accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Fluent German and excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
Nice to have
- Prior experience in consulting, audit, controlling, compliance, or risk management.
- Proficiency in additional languages.
