DHVJ SA seeks a Mid-level Freight Forwarder specializing in Air Freight for Healthcare in Meyrin, CH. The role manages end-to-end transport operations, ensuring compliance, profitability, and high customer satisfaction in an international setting.
This position serves as a proactive link between clients and internal or external service providers. The specialist is responsible for the accurate execution of customer orders, maintaining high productivity levels, and ensuring overall customer satisfaction within the air freight healthcare sector.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the complete transport lifecycle from pickup to final delivery, including invoicing procedures.
- Maintain active communication with customers, DSV offices, agents, sales teams, subcontractors, and carriers.
- Receive customer orders, verify all shipment and order-related data and documentation, and enter them into the system.
- Track job costing and monitor profitability metrics.
- Process vendor invoices in accordance with Senior Team Lead instructions and established working instructions.
- Identify and resolve operational issues, managing escalations as needed.
- Ensure quality compliance by following specified processes and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Requirements
- Completion of a commercial apprenticeship.
- Relevant professional experience in the field.
- Functional expertise in Air Freight operations.
- Prior experience working in an international environment.
- Fluency in both English and French.
- Knowledge of and training in Good Distribution Practice concepts and applicable SOPs.
