Julius Bär seeks a Senior Front Arena / Market Making Specialist in Zürich to support AMAS-PRIME interactions, focusing on system development, integration, and market making support.
This position centers on the interaction between AMAS and PRIME to facilitate market making and quoting activities. The role requires an individual who can drive impact and create value beyond traditional wealth management contexts.
Responsibilities
- Create, validate, and implement reliable features that connect trading platforms with back-office systems.
- Take full responsibility for essential services, ensuring they remain available and experience minimal downtime.
- Manage the integration of Front Arena with both upstream and downstream technical systems.
- Diagnose and fix complex production issues through detailed root cause analysis.
- Review work to ensure it meets quality, security, and architectural guidelines.
- Spot opportunities to enhance system performance, scalability, and operational stability.
- Participate in change and release management within an agile SAFe environment.
- Maintain strict adherence to ethical standards, risk protocols, and regulatory compliance.
Requirements
- A university degree in Computer Science, Financial Engineering, Financial Mathematics, or a closely related field.
- At least five years of practical development experience using AMAS, AFG, AIMS, and their interaction with PRIME.
- Strong grasp of capital markets, with specific expertise in structured products and equity derivatives.
- Solid practical knowledge of market making processes utilizing AMAS and PRIME.
- Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
