Front Arena / Market Making Specialist - AMAS (A)

Bosshard & Partner AG seeks a Senior Front Arena / Market Making Specialist in Zürich to design and maintain critical trading solutions, focusing on AMAS integration and system reliability.

This position is responsible for the end-to-end ownership of business-critical trading services within a leading international financial institution. The specialist will drive the integration of Front Arena across the trading ecosystem, ensuring that mission-critical applications remain reliable, scalable, and performant.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and deploy robust solutions for trading and back-office systems.
• Take full ownership of critical services to guarantee high availability and reduce production downtime.
• Lead the integration of Front Arena with both upstream and downstream systems.
• Perform root cause analysis and resolve complex production incidents promptly.
• Conduct code and architecture reviews to ensure quality, security, and adherence to standards.
• Identify and implement improvements to boost system performance, scalability, and resilience.
• Participate in change and release management within an agile SAFe environment.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and risk management standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Financial Engineering, Financial Mathematics, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of hands-on development experience with AMAS, AFG, AIMS, and AMAS interaction with PRIME.
• Strong understanding of capital markets, particularly structured products and equity derivatives.
• Solid experience with market making using AMAS and PRIME.
• Proven experience integrating Front Arena with trading and back-office applications.
• Very good written and spoken English.

Nice to have

• Experience working in agile development environments, ideally using the SAFe framework.
• Previous experience leading technical teams or mentoring developers is an advantage.
