Senior OMS Developer

Bank J Safra Sarasin seeks a Senior OMS Developer in Zürich to maintain and enhance its global Front Arena trading system, ensuring stability and supporting business operations.

The company is looking for an experienced developer to take ownership of the operating, maintenance, and evolution of its global trading infrastructure. This role focuses on delivering high-quality services to international stakeholders while driving long-term value through system stability, automation, and the implementation of new functionalities within the Front Arena environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance the Order Management System (OMS) to ensure optimal performance.
• Partner with business units to address new requirements and improve services, including network-related aspects.
• Develop and deploy new integrations, market connections, and features within the Front Arena trading platform.
• Provide daily operational support to business teams.
• Increase system reliability and promote automation initiatives.

Requirements

• A university degree in computer science or software engineering, or equivalent professional training in banking.
• Three to five years of hands-on experience with Front Arena OMNI/AMS.
• Solid understanding of industry-specific processes and requirements.
• Proficiency in Front Arena Automation, Microsoft Windows Server, and MS SQL.
• Strong knowledge of the FIX-Protocol, Python, PowerShell, and SQL.
• Fluent command of English.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders and perform well under pressure.
• A proactive, hands-on approach with a strong sense of responsibility.
• Skill in designing robust architectures and leading technical implementations.

Nice to have

• Experience with Front Arena PRIME/ADS.
• Fluency in German.
