Senior Banking Systems Integration Engineer

J. Safra Sarasin seeks a Senior Banking Systems Integration Engineer to design scalable Avaloq-based integration solutions and support real-time messaging infrastructure in an onsite role based in Switzerland.

This position sits at the center of the bank’s technological evolution, delivering advanced integration tools that enable high-quality client experiences. The engineer will focus on building reliable services and ensuring seamless data flow across critical banking platforms.

Responsibilities

• Create and sustain scalable services within the Avaloq Container Platform Reference (ACPR) and Openshift environments.
• Engineer sturdy integration frameworks leveraging the Avaloq Business Event Grid (BEG).
• Participate in key projects involving bi-directional, real-time message streaming via Kafka.
• Troubleshoot and fix intricate integration challenges spanning various channels.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and release management groups to ensure solution quality from initial design through deployment.
• Assist in executing testing campaigns and software rollouts.

Requirements

• A university degree or equivalent qualification in Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• At least five years of hands-on experience in system integration within the banking sector.
• Proven familiarity with Avaloq technologies.
• Professional fluency in English.

Nice to have

• An Avaloq Academy Professional Certification, such as the Avaloq Certified Integration Professional (ACIP).
• Practical knowledge of Openshift, OpenAPI, Apache Kafka, or .NET.
