Senior Operational Risk Manager

J. Safra Sarasin seeks a Senior Operational Risk Manager to strengthen its risk framework in compliance with FINMA regulations. The role requires extensive experience in operational risk and audit, with strong organizational and communication skills.

This position plays a key part in maintaining the bank’s operational risk framework, ensuring alignment with FINMA standards. The role also supports the Group’s consolidated supervision duties, helping to coordinate consistency across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) process
• Manage risks related to outsourcing and third-party vendors
• Ensure all activities comply with the relevant regulatory framework
• Coordinate efforts to maintain consistency across the Group

Requirements

• University degree in Finance or Economics
• At least 10 years of practical experience in Audit or Operational Risk
• Proven experience implementing regulatory frameworks and managing operational risks
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to work independently
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation abilities
• Fluent English
• Very good command of French

• Knowledge of Avaloq
• Fluency in German
