Senior Operational Risk Manager

Bank J Safra Sarasin seeks a Senior Operational Risk Manager in Geneva to strengthen its risk framework and support group supervision.

This position plays a key part in maintaining the bank’s operational risk framework in line with FINMA regulations. The role also supports the consolidated supervision duties of the Group, ensuring consistency and compliance across operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) process
• Manage risks related to outsourcing and third-party vendors
• Ensure all activities align with the current regulatory framework
• Coordinate efforts to maintain consistency across the Group

Requirements

• University degree in Finance or Economics
• At least 10 years of experience in Audit or Operational Risk
• Proven track record in implementing regulatory frameworks and managing operational risks
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and work independently
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation abilities
• Demonstrated success in collaborating with diverse stakeholders
• Fluent English
• Very good command of French

• Fluency in German
