Mercier Consultancy Group seeks a German-speaking Rent-a-Car Consultant based in Sofia, Bulgaria, to assist travelers with premium vehicle rentals and customer service.

This position places the consultant at the center of the tourism sector in Sofia, acting as the main liaison for German-speaking clients looking for high-quality car rental services. The role involves managing bookings, providing tailored travel advice, and ensuring a smooth experience for international travelers.

Responsibilities

• Manage rental reservations, changes, and cancellations for German-speaking clients.
• Offer customized vehicle suggestions based on individual travel plans and financial constraints.
• Respond to customer inquiries received through phone, email, and live chat channels.
• Execute rental contracts, process payments, and handle necessary documentation according to internal guidelines.
• Recommend and sell additional services such as insurance, navigation devices, child seats, and extra drivers.
• Work with travel agencies, hospitality partners, and other tourism-related businesses.
• Record all customer interactions and data accurately in the company CRM.
• Forward difficult or unresolved client issues to specialized support teams.

Requirements

• Native or fluent proficiency in both spoken and written German.
• Possession of a valid European Union passport.
