This position places you within an international and dynamic team tasked with evaluating complex and technical IT systems against established industry standards. You will collaborate with a leading provider of digital identity and signature services, gaining exposure to diverse IT environments while supporting KPMG's role as a major Conformity Assessment Body for digital signatures and identity proofing in Switzerland.
Responsibilities
- Lead certification initiatives by reviewing IT and cloud setups with a focus on cybersecurity and compliance.
- Analyze Public Key Infrastructures and identity proofing workflows to ensure alignment with security best practices and regulations.
- Examine intricate IT systems to identify dependencies and critical components.
- Evaluate innovative software applications and secure development practices related to digital identity products.
- Contribute to advanced topics like digital identities and quantum security.
- Collaborate with service teams to interpret regulations, provide strategic client insights, and support KPMG's accreditation goals.
- Participate in various cybersecurity services, including security transformation, cyber defense, and governance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related STEM discipline.
- 1–2 years of practical IT or cybersecurity experience, including internships, is advantageous.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently toward collective objectives.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Passion for understanding complex systems and enthusiasm for emerging technologies and tools.
- Solid knowledge of configuring security for operating systems, databases, and network architecture, with professional experience being ideal.
- Fluent English communication skills.
