Michael Page seeks a Group Consolidation Analyst in Lausanne to manage financial close cycles and support EPM migration. This permanent, on-site role requires IFRS expertise and consolidation tool experience.
Reporting directly to the Head of Group Accounting, this position plays a key part in the organization's financial close and consolidation procedures. The role also provides valuable exposure to the group's ongoing transition to a new Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) platform.
Responsibilities
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidation cycles, handling intercompany eliminations, equity movements, and CTA entries.
- Conduct pre-close control checks to investigate foreign exchange inconsistencies and consolidation variances.
- Oversee reporting submissions from various entities and ensure timely follow-up during the close period.
- Assist in preparing consolidated financial statements and audit deliverables in compliance with IFRS standards.
- Participate in EPM migration efforts, including data validation, reconciliation, testing, and process documentation.
- Identify process inefficiencies and suggest improvements to controls and reporting workflows.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Finance or Accounting.
- 4-6 years of experience in group consolidation or Big 4 audit within a multinational setting.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS consolidation principles, including IAS 21, intercompany transactions, and equity accounting.
- Practical experience with consolidation tools such as Cognos, HFM, OneStream, Tagetik, or similar systems.
- Fluent proficiency in English.
