Group Consolidation Accountant 80-100%

Scott Sports is hiring a Group Consolidation Accountant for a 6-month fixed-term contract in Givisiez, CH. The role supports the company’s consolidation activities with responsibilities in IFRS adjustments, eliminations, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation. Candidates need a finance/accounting diploma, 2–5 years of accounting or audit experience, strong Excel skills, and native French with professional English proficiency.

This is a 6-month fixed-term position designed to support Scott Group’s consolidation activities, providing hands-on experience in group financial reporting and closing processes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and record IFRS adjustment entries for group reporting
• Carry out consolidation eliminations for accounts receivable, accounts payable, sales, cost of sales, and inventory profit
• Assist in compiling consolidated data for monthly and annual financial closings
• Help prepare notes for quarterly and annual financial statements using subsidiary closing packages
• Conduct consistency checks and perform reconciliations to ensure data accuracy
• Maintain clear, audit-ready documentation of all work performed
• Support the resolution of discrepancies in financial reporting
• Help refine and improve consolidation working files
• Take part in additional consolidation tasks as needed

Requirements

• Swiss Federal Diploma in Finance and Accounting, HEG degree, or equivalent (completed or in progress)
• 2 to 5 years of experience in accounting or audit roles
• Solid understanding of core accounting principles
• Native-level French and professional-level English (written and spoken)
• Advanced proficiency in Excel is required

Nice to have

• Knowledge of IFRS is beneficial
• Experience with SAP or another ERP system is advantageous
• Interest in group consolidation processes
