Gymnastics Coach/Assistant Coach

The International School of Geneva seeks a part-time Gymnastics Coach to lead training sessions for students and external groups, fostering motor development and sportsmanship.

This position is central to supporting the physical growth, confidence, and discipline of young people at the school. The coach engages with students during midday sessions and with external children in the late afternoon, promoting the institution's core values of perseverance and the joy of sport.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver gymnastics training on Wednesdays, either independently or assisting the head coach.
• Oversee Kids classes and external groups, cultivating an inclusive and motivating team environment.
• Enforce safety rules and ensure proper handling of facilities and equipment.
• Collaborate with the Extracurricular Activities team to support campus sports development.
• Assist in organizing demonstrations, competitions, or other sports-related events as needed.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in teaching, leading, or coaching artistic gymnastics.
• Possession of a J+S Artistic Gymnastics diploma.
• Fluency in either English or French.

Nice to have

• An 'Allround' skill set is considered a strong advantage.
• Foreign qualifications equivalent to the J+S diploma.
• Bilingual proficiency in both English and French.
