The International School of Geneva seeks a part-time Volleyball Coach for its Founex campus to lead weekly sessions and support student development.
This position focuses on guiding student-athletes within the La Châtaigneraie Campus environment. The role plays a key part in fostering physical health and social growth by emphasizing technical skills, collaboration, resilience, and sportsmanship.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate and manage the weekly volleyball practice held on Wednesday afternoons.
- Define and track progress goals customized for different age brackets and ability levels among students aged 11 to 18.
- Design engaging, safe, and varied training activities that align with the sports department's educational objectives.
- Collaborate closely with the broader coaching staff and campus sports directors.
- Assist with additional departmental duties when extra support is required.
- Conduct training independently or partner with another coach to deliver sessions effectively.
Requirements
- Hold a Youth and Sport (J+S) diploma in active volleyball or an equivalent international certification.
- Demonstrate prior experience coaching volleyball for youth aged 11 to 18.
- Be fluent in French and/or English.
Nice to have
- Previous experience working with female teenagers is considered a strong advantage.
