Swordservices seeks a Senior Identity Specialist in Geneva to develop and operate open-source IAM platforms, supporting a Zero Trust security model for a global workforce.

This position strengthens a modern Identity and Access Management product team based in Geneva. The role focuses on building and maintaining on-premises identity solutions using open-source technologies, ensuring secure and seamless access for a globally distributed workforce while supporting a Zero Trust security approach.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the lifecycle, maintenance, and evolution of the current CIAM platform (WSO2 Identity Server) to guarantee reliability and continuity.
  • Architect, implement, and manage identity solutions leveraging open-source tools such as Keycloak and WSO2.
  • Deploy advanced authentication methods, including adaptive access, multi-factor authentication, federation, and passwordless login, in line with Zero Trust principles.
  • Connect identity platforms with corporate systems like Active Directory and Entra ID.
  • Facilitate identity governance through automated Joiner-Mover-Leaver processes and provisioning workflows.
  • Establish monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to track identity activities and proactively address risks.
  • Resolve incidents and service requests alongside cross-functional teams to maintain service stability.
  • Create and update technical documentation while contributing to open-source projects and internal knowledge sharing.

Requirements

  • A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent hands-on experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of practical experience in Identity & Access Management, with a strong emphasis on open-source solutions.
  • Demonstrated expertise with Keycloak and/or WSO2 Identity Server.
  • Solid understanding of identity standards and protocols, including SAML, OAuth2, OpenID Connect, and JWT.
  • Programming skills in at least one language (preferably Java) and familiarity with version control and contribution workflows.
  • Experience with automation and Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Background working in Agile environments and collaborative delivery frameworks.

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of identity integration with Active Directory and Entra ID is a plus.
